Ramblings of the Forever-12-Year-Old

Didn't think it would be so hard... ~"~

What do you do when your big boss asks you to do his Ph. D. homework for him?

1. Go above and beyond in efforts and time to satisfy the Big Man in the hope that he will give you a BIG bonus at the end of the year.

2. Do it, but do it reluctantly and sloppily, while complaining to everyone.

3. Flat out refuse it to the Big Man's face and tell him that he should be ashamed of himself for even asking.

4. Try to procrastinate as long as you can, hoping he will forget about it.

5. Pass it on to someone else to do.

6. Tell him that you will do it, but since it is not within your job description, you will need to charge him for the extra time.

7. Do it and pretend to be very agreeable, at the same time, sabotage the assignment content in a way that will let him fail the class.

8. Tell other supervisors about it.

9. Try to contact the instructor of the class and inform him or her of the Big Man's dishonesty.

10. Other.....?

What would you do? I am in very desparate need of some good advice and suggestions here!! >Q<~

  • is this really true? He should be ashamed of himself. Refuse him and tell him that he is responsible for his own work. And you have lose all of your respect of him.

  • Yes.. Unfortunately, it is true, and so far I have only been able to stall him with the excuse that it is beyond my abilities and that I cannot write a paper out of nothing...

But his response was that he will get someone else to look up some information for him, then I can write the paper according to them...

Now he is on a trip for a month, but he might remember to contact me again via e-mail or phone, especially when the due date approaches.

The pathetic truth is that, it's not as easy to refuse right out as I had thought, yah~~~~ |||Orz
